Sight Systems is proud to be one of a minority of computer companies in the UK to be working towards ISO14001, a
government directive that sets out environmental management systems requirements for organisations wishing to operate in a
sustainable manner.
80 Plus Scheme
The 80 Plus scheme aims to reduce computer power consumption by encouraging increased energy efficiency. We use 80 Plus
power supply wherever we can.
Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ROHS)
Sight Systems is fully ROHS
compliant. The ROHS is a European Directive that severely restricts the use of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chrome,
polybrominated biphenyl and polybrominated diphenyl ether in electrical and electronic equipment. All Sight Systems
products and systems have been fully ROHS compliant since July 2006.
Waste, Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) - Reg Number: WEEE/ED0142Q
Sight Systems is committed to mimimising the impact our products have on the environment and is fully WEEE compliant.
Where possible, our products are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. We will provide information as to the
proper disposal of items and any hazardous substances where applicable.
