RoHS Compliance

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances is a European Directive that affects manufacturers, sellers, distributors and recyclers of electrical and electronic equipment containing lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chrome, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).

From July 1, 2006 the use of these materials has been severely restricted in most electrical products sold in Europe.

Sight Systems is committed to ensuring full compliance with the RoHS directives. All our standard ranges of industrial computers and our purpose built custom designed systems will be fully compliant from July 2006.

A Declaration of RoHS Compliance can be provided on request.

WEEE Compliance

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) applies to companies within the E.U. that manufacture, sell, and distribute electrical equipment.
